Julie Stamenic is a self-taught Belgian photographer mainly focusing on the Nordic countries.

It was during her Erasmus in Norway, in 2013, that Julie started using her first camera, being amazed by the Arctic light.

Over the last 10 years, Julie has continued to explore these lands, with which she has developed a deep connection.

Recent exhibitions have given her the opportunity to pass on her fascination for the North and to raise awareness of the sometimes visible effects of climate change in these remote places.

The photographer has recently decided to share her passion and approach with people wishing to learn photography through workshops held in Belgium.

Julie Stamenic and Samuel Bouchoms share the same values. Their similarities in their approach to photography have inspired them to collaborate on certain aspects of their work, offering content that draws on both their experiences.
