In 2004, after travelling across Asia and North America, Jean-Dominique began a vast project in Africa, immersing himself in the many aspects of African civilisation. Alongside this, since 2016, he has embarked on a new photographic and cinematographic journey, travelling across Europe to sacred places of pilgrimage, meeting healers, magnetisers and dowsers closer to home, making close associations with those he has met over the years, in Asia and Africa. Imbued with a poetic and sensitive anthropology, his approach reveals beliefs and practices with restraint, respect and an assumed fascination.
Since 1978, his work has been shown in a number of exhibitions throughout the world. Many of his works are held in public and private collections.
